There are numerous beaches in Alcossebre but Platja del Serradal is unique due to a small river running into the ocean. Next to the ocean there is a small pool that is popular with dog-owners but this year the pool was not connected with the ocean. I passed by one day when it was overcast and enjoyed the soft light on the very picteresque scene. There were not a lot of dogs or swimmers that day so we enjoyed a peaceful view of the ocean.
