Most of this blog will occur in the comunidad autónoma of Castilla y Leon. Spain has 17 comunidades autónomas, each of which is further divided into provincias. For example, I live in the village of Gumiel de Mercado in the provincia Burgos, which is in the comunidad autónoma of Castilla y Leon.
